PHILOSOPHY

I believe the journey of the body is the journey of the soul. I see this in all the different stages and ages that we experience in this incredible labyrinth of life. I see it through health, injury, pain, illness, well-being, trauma, loss, gain, celebration, strength and capacity. I base this not only on my personal life experiences but on years of learning in different fields that encompass healing and transformation of the whole self. These include Massage Therapy, Cognitive Science, Gestalt Psychotherapy, the sacred art of Yoga, Jungian Somatics, Reflexology, Martial Arts, Shamanic practices and trauma-informed care.

 

How does this translate into what I offer? I am here to support you wherever and however you are, with informed, professional, whole self care. I recognize all parts of you (body, mind, and soul) and bring that energy to every session. Often people see me when they are in pain—we are whole beings and typically pain manifests in more than just a physical way. I hold space for however that manifests. Our bodies are alchemical containers for transformation in all its forms. This is the space I hold for the work that we do.

Massage therapy is a form of hands-on manipulation of soft tissues in the body. It can help to reduce stress, relieve pain, and improve overall well-being. I use various techniques to target specific areas of the body and promote relaxation.

REFLEXOLOGY

Reflexology is a type of alternative medicine that involves applying pressure to specific points on feet, hands, and ears. It is believed to promote relaxation, improve circulation, and relieve pain. Reflexology is often used in conjunction with other therapies to treat a variety of conditions.

JUNGIAN SOMATICS

Private yoga sessions offer personalized attention and guidance to help you achieve your goals. You can practice at your own pace and receive tailored to your body's needs. It's a great way to deepen your practice and improve your overall well-being

Jungian somatics is a therapeutic approach that combines Jungian psychology with body-centered practices. It emphasizes the importance of the body in the healing process and aims to integrate the unconscious and conscious aspects of the psyche. Jungian somatics can help individuals gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their emotions.
